The PestCert initiative was established with the aim of improving the professionalism and reputation of Australia's pest management industry ... the industry working to protect public health, food and property.

Companies displaying the PestCert logo have been reviewed and passed the very high levels of quality service defined within the "PestCert Certification Process". This PestCert "Stamp of Approval" means that you can be comfortable with your choice of pest management company, knowing they will use the correct practices and products.

The PestCPD program is an industry based, independent professional development accreditation program developed by AEPMA and PestCert. PestCPD events will be held to allow professional training and updating of the pest industry technicians' understanding of latest products and techniques.

PestCert helps householders and business owners identify pest managers who provide the highest standards of professionalism, safety and service in the industry. PestCert accredited pest managers:

• commit to ensuring the safety of people, pets, buildings and the environment.
• can demonstrate a high level of competency (higher than required for a pest management licence).
• pledge to undertake continuing professional development so as to keep up to date.
• use properly maintained vehicles and chemical storage areas.
• comply with PestCert's code of conduct.
• hold Professional Indemnity and Liability Insurance.
