These rules are required to be read before the application for accreditation is signed and lodged with PestCert.

The agreement is executed between the accredited business and PestCert Limited prior to that business being granted a licence to use the Pestcert trademark.

Accreditation Process

Applying for PestCert accreditation is straight forward. Review the following steps as a summary of the procedure required.

1. Download business accreditation application form from the links above and retrieve important information regarding accreditation requirements from the "Accreditation Section" of this web site - Scope of Accreditation.
2. Complete the forms, forward them to PestCert, including working vehicle details, storage details, etc. Read the Rules for use of the PestCert trademark incorporating the Code of Conduct.
3. PestCert will contact you to confirm your eligibility.
4. Sign the Trademark User Licence Agreement (forwarded to you by PestCert) and return it with your first year's membership and accreditation fee.
5. Once you have received your certificate of business accreditation, you can start promoting your exciting new status to your existing and potential customers.
6. It is a requirement that businesses registered with PestCert ensure that their employees are adequately trained.  This requires employees to undertake a minimum of 80 CPD units of training in any given year.  Details of CPD training is available on the CPD website, www.pestcpd.com.au.  Note, industry technicians are accredited free to this site and it is the business' responsibility to ensure that all employees are so registered.

PestCert Limited membership

Accreditation includes membership of PestCert Limited and provides the nominated representative of the member company with the right to participate in any general meeting of the company. PestCert members can also nominate and vote for Directors of the company.
